Winter Wonderland

Twenty years ago, Winter Wonderland came into being at the Rescue Mission. The idea was born to provide homeless people with the opportunity to give at Christmas. Mission residents are permitted to shop for family members who may or may not be with them at the shelter. This year, Winter Wonderland was on Dec. 19. We could not do this without the help of a committed group of volunteers. Special thanks go to the Youth of Greenford Christian Church and to Carol (Santa) Perkins.
